Kyneton Bushland Resort has 62 units set amongst 50 acres of natural Australian bushland, allowing many of our guests to catch a glimpse of some of Australia’s native wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and a variety of bird species.

 

Accommodation is available for weekly or weekend rental, perfect for a romantic getaway, business travellers or family holiday. Located close to the popular tourist destinations of Kyneton, Macedon, Hanging Rock, Daylesford, Ballarat and Bendigo. If you don't want to go sightseeing then you can stay at the resort and enjoy all the facilities and activities that Kyneton Bushland Resort has to offer.

Our accommodation is all fully self-contained allowing guests to stay in or head out and try some of the fantastic restaurants and cafes that our region is home to. Note: There are two different layouts of two bedroom villas available. One style has an ensuite bathroom off the main bedroom and a main bathroom. The second style has two ensuite bathrooms off the bedrooms.

Three Bedroom Accommodation

from $320 per night - Sleeps up to 6 people

The features of the Three Bedroom stand-alone villas are: ​

  • Laundry including dryer

  • Hair dryer

  • Two bathrooms (some do have three bathrooms)

  • TV and DVD player

  • Note: The three bedroom accommodation is similar but the layouts do vary. Please let us know if you have a special request. 

  • How do I book accommodation?
    ONLINE: All bookings can be made easily online. When making the booking you will be required to pay a deposit equivalent to one night's accommodation. The booking process is simple and you will receive a booking confirmation via email. BY PHONE: Contact one of our friendly staff at the Resort on 03 5422 0888 to make a booking. When booking, a deposit equivalent to one night's accommodation is required within seven days. This deposit can be paid over the phone with a credit card (MasterCard or Visa). If a deposit is not received within seven days the booking will then be cancelled. Any booking that is made less than seven days prior to arrival must pay a deposit at the time of booking. BY EMAIL: Email us your preferred booking dates and we can make the booking for you. A deposit equivalent to one night's accommodation is required within seven days of making the booking. This deposit can be paid over the phone with a credit card (MasterCard or Visa). If a deposit is not received within seven days the booking will then be cancelled. Any booking that is made less than seven days prior to arrival must pay a deposit at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation Policy
    A booking may be cancelled at any time. Depending on the amount of notice given, renters may lose some or all of their deposit: 30 to 15 days notice - 50% of the deposit Less than 14 days’ notice or non arrival – 100% of the deposit. The full deposit will be refunded if 31 or more days’ notice is given prior to check-in.
  • Check In/ Check Out Times
    Timeshare check-ins - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - Check-in from 4pm; Check-out: 10am. Rental (Accom) check-ins - Saturday to Thursday - Check-in from 3pm; Check-out: 11am. Late check-out is available (fee applies) and can be arranged during your stay.
  • Security Deposits
    A security deposit is required at check-in for all bookings. This deposit will be taken in the form of a preauthorisation on a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). You will need the card with you to complete the pre-authorisation.
  • Special Requests
    Cots, highchairs and fold out beds are available for a fee. Please contact us to organise the hire of these items prior to arriving. Please advise the resort prior if you would like to request a particular villa/apartment or you have any special requirements.
  • Can I bring my pet to the Resort?
    Due to the native fauna that share our Resort we have always had a no pets policy. We now have 2 dog friendly villas available for guests but extra costs and strict rules apply. They are suitable for small to medium sized dogs with doggy door that exits into a small enclosed run. Please enquire to Reception regarding price and terms and conditions.
  • Do the villas and apartments have DVD players?
    All the villas and apartments have a DVD player in them. We also have over 60 DVDs that we hire for $2 to $5 per night.
  • Can you fish in the lake?
    Yes, every year we stock the lake with Trout and Redfin.
  • Do you supply fishing rods and bait?
    No, you will need to bring your own fishing rods with you. Most people use worms, corn, jelly beans or bread for bait.
  • What time does reception close on Friday night?
    Reception closes at 6pm on Friday.
  • I am arriving after reception closes, what do I do?
    If you are arriving after 6pm there is an after hours number to call on the front doors of reception to get the code for the key safe. This information is also included in an email sent to you the day before your arrival.
  • How far is the Resort from Melbourne?
    The resort is approximately 85kms from Melbourne, taking just over one hour's drive.
  • How far is the Resort from Kyneton?
    The Resort is approximately 4kms from the centre of Kyneton.
  • Where is the closest supermarket?
    Kyneton has a large Woolworths supermarket located in the centre of town that is open from 7am to 10pm every day. There is also an IGA Supermarket that is open 7am to 8pm Mon-Sat and 8am to 7pm Sunday in Mollison Street. The resort also has a small shop that stocks a variety of basic items.
  • Do you have internet access at the Resort?
    Yes, Wi-Fi internet is now available in all villas and the Reception Complex and is free of charge.
